Ijjen tmeṭṭut ɣer-s ijjen memmi-s, iseqḍeɛ ijjen unebbar[2]. Tenna-s: “I mi anebbar-nni?” Inna-s: “Ad qesseɣ i baba-m azellif mi ur ayi-tewcid miyat metqal“! Tewca-s miyat metqal.
Isewweq ssuq, yufa din ijjen ɣer-s atbir[3], inna-s: “Cḥal wa ay ameddukkel?” Inna-s: “Man ɣa tewced“? Inna-s: “Ha miyat metqal!”. Inna-s: “Llah ijɛellek rrbeḥ!”.
Iraḥ fḥal-s, tenna-s imma-s: “I mi tiwid-dd atbir-a“? Inna-s: Ila-neɣ[4] da gi tnayen, luxa aqqa-neɣ gi tlata“! Ɛawed iseqḍeɛ anebbar, tenna-s imma-s: “Imi t-tesqedɛed?” Inna-s: “Ad qesseɣ i baba-m azellif ma ur ayi-tewcid miyat metqal!”
Tewca-s miyat metqal, isewweq ssuq, yufa din ijj n umcic ittmenza. Inna-s i mul-as: “Cḥal wa?” Inna-s: “Seɣ!” Inna-s: “Ha miyat metqal!“. Inna-s: “Llah ijɛellek rrbeḥ!“.
Irewweḥ fḥal-s. Ssuq nneḍni, ibda isseqḍaɛ anebbar, tenna-s imma-s: “I mi wa?” Inna-s: “Ad qesseɣ i baba-m azellif“! Tewca-s miyat metqal.
Isewweq ssuq, yufa din ucca, inna-s i mul-as: “Cḥal wa“? Inna-s: “Seɣ i uzellif-ink!” Inna-s: “Ha miyat metqal!” Inna-s: “Allah ijɛellek rrbeḥ!” .. Iruḥ, yiwi-t.

Inna-s i imma-s: “A yi-tmelked zi ɣer ujellid”!
Traḥ ɣer ujellid, tenna-s: “A yi-tesmelked memmi“! Inna-s ujellid: “Malla ad isbaḥ ittazzel s yeksan gi tmellalin, ur ttreẓẓint, d tẓuḍa s ufella i uzellif-ines ur t-ittreyyec[5], a s-uceɣ illi!”.

Ruxent, yus-dd ijjen wuday, yebda ittbeddal rubɛet, yenna-s i temɣart: “Uc-ayi txatemt-a, necc a m-uceɣ qeɛ rubɛet-a!“.
